Not much time this week end, mothers day, but the road wheels(yet to be modified) are on.
Used black nylon bearing spacers, m3 x10mm and an m4 x 7mm. The M3 is a great fit for the HL T-34 road wheel very little freeplay, and with it being bearing nylon makes a great wheel axle. Retaining screw goes through the suspension arm and protrudes 4mm through the end stop slot for the suspension travel. I filed the last 4mm down to give an smooth end stop pin, no threaded edge to catch the plastic.

This is were the time starts to add up, front view ports, gun ports, fenders, turret ring, engine cover and Gunners hatch hinges(could do with smaller fingers still 32 hinges to go!!).
Transmission on hold as my planned older tiger 1 gearbox was about 4mm too tall, just ordered a 3:1 low profile one from Welsh Dragon.

A whole 39 hours later the new gearbox has arrived....1st class service from Welsh Dragon.

Lovely looking gearbox, wasn't expecting the nice black finished motors. Very smooth gearbox with very little backlash.

Will be in the Cromwell before the day it out!
