He has amended the auction, we are starting at £25. But he still wants £35 postage!!! :o

It has to be said that some people whack the postage up as they don't get charged Ebay fees on it. Thats why its always wise to look at the postage and only bid what you think its worth...inc the postage.

If he gets £30 for the tank and £35 postage, he gets £65 but only pays Ebay fees on £30.

Another trick is 'Buy It Now'. It disappears as soon as the first bid is placed. What some canny buyers do is put in a first bid to get rid of BIN so that no one else can click on it. Then they PM the seller and make them a cash offer below the BIN price. The seller is shafted as the BIN has disappeared, and the seller stands to grab a bargain.

You gotta watch those Ebayers!!

Some of the shysters over here won't tell you the shipping cost until you have agreed to BIN - I got stung for $28 shipping on a $12 tank last year...
