A group of us from Maui, Hawaii want to start a 1:16 RC Tank club for outdoor use. I am totally confused on what to buy. There is so much out there....Please help!
1) How much metal or steel should we start with for outdoor use? Metal tracks and "metal gear box" should be minimum we buy? Or go straight to "steel" gear box and don't waste money buying twice?JUST BUY WHAT YOU ALL CAN AFFORD MID TO HIGH END MODELS ARE YOUR BEST BET

2) Can you shoot 6mm paintballs out the airsoft cannons? Any problems?NOT ENOUGH FPS...AND IF YOU DO MOD TO GET HIGHER...SAME PROBLEMS AS AIRSOFT.. THE BB CAN BURST IN YOUR BARREL...COLOR COATED GRAPHITE WOULD BE YOUR BEST BET

3) Standard 2.4 radios that come with it ok to use with that many of us? LOOK FOR 2.4 MODELS...SOME STILL HAVE CRYSTAL SETS..TRULY OUTDATED

4) Can these be upgraded to Lipo batteries and how much MAH do you recommend? GO LIPO ..MORE POWER..LONGER LASTING IN PLAY MODE

5)What brand Tank do you recommend? Taigen,HL etc
FOR A CLUB...TAIGEN..BETTER COMPATIBILITY..BETTER SELECTION OF IR MODELS ...INDIVIDUAL ..BUILDING A COLLECTION...HENG LONG...MORE AFFORDABLE....FUN TO MOD AND DETAIL(LOWER "START FOUNDATION COST)...PARTS EASILY GOT=SHORTER DOWN TIMES... IMO THAT IS
