"Oh nothing is straightened out, she still asks why I need more toys and that she "forbids" me getting any more. Yeah right! Like I told her before I'm her husband not her kid. But I'm gonna buy what I want when I want to buy it! I'm the one who works outside in ANY weather and gets PAID for it and if I want to fill my house with R/C tanks then we'll have a house full of R/C tanks. "

You'll be right Mr Jack................we are that determined to have things that its worth the venom we go through to get it !!
She'll figure that out soon enough & give up

Hey thanks for that Jack  .. thought the Mato wasn't going to be in the US for awhile....but I just found out they will be here sooner than I thought..found some really good photos of it ...and it will be way more suitable than the Taigen for my genre of RC tankery ;)

Hi Jack, just curious as to why you would want an IR and BB Sherman. I buy the IR versions unless Taigen doesn't make the tank in IR version and then I'll buy the BB (M-26) As I said, just curious if you would care to share. Thank you

Joe

I plan to build 2 different Shermans and I recently found out that there may be a group that battles them not an hour drive my house but I need to talk to the hobby shop owner as he is said to have the info on them. BB tanks are a little less expensive but you can't battle with a BB version so I'd need at least 1 IR version to battle with IF indeed there is a group, and I have fun shooting stuff with my current BB tanks so I figure one of each. 1 to battle with and one to cruise around my yard and neighborhood shooting stop signs, squirrels, bunny rabbits, double parked cars, etc etc.

Now if there is NOT a group I have to think long and hard if the IR version would be worth it to me to have if I have no where to use it. There is the group up in New Jersey but thats like a 4 hour drive and I'm not driving 4 hours just to play tanks for a couple hours, no insult or disrespect intended by this statement if any of you currently do this. I just don't have the time due to work and family.

Thanks for the reply Jack. I too live in an area that is basically a "tank free club zone". I don't know of any. My local Hobbytown USA just started carrying Taigen but only carries the BB tanks. I'm fortunate in that my wife supports my hobby and will battle with me using the IR tanks. In fact, she wins most of the time. There are just too many people, little dogs, and windows in my neighborhood for the BB tanks so I buy mostly IR. I live in a retirement community and people start walking around 5AM and I've seen them on the street as late as 10PM, rain or shine. The only other hobby shop that sells Taigen is over two hours away. And again, only the BB tanks. Thanks Jack

Joe, just so you know these things can not break windows if you shoot them nor hurt cars or squirrels or bunny rabbits. The BB's are plastic and the tanks do not shoot them hard enough to hurt anything. MAYBE they could hurt an animals eye if you should get off a lucky shot but I doubt it.

I WISH my wife would do fun stuff but over the last few years she's gone from fun to total stick in the mud. We used to go out all the time to dinner and movies, go skiing, snow boarding, snow mobiling, go out with friends but now all she does is go to work and read her Kindle and sleep. No fun at all.
