You are of course right painless! However a little friendly banter you fella on the otherwise of the pond is always fun!PainlessWolf wrote:Good Morning, Gentlemen,
I believe that we are all united in our enjoyment of scale armor and it does not really matter to a truly broad minded individual engaged in that pursuit where anyone is from or what language that they speak. Fun is a universal constant and is readily shared among us all. ( as are all of the things that we may carp about during the having of said 'fun' )

Whats a "CRUMPET"? Welllll it can be a doughnut textured round smooth surface on one side unsweetened and perforated on the other side, you place it under the grill until the smooth surfaced side is brown then turn and do the same, (being extraordinarily moorish you will need to grill at least 4) whilst still hot spread very very thickly on the perforated side with salted butter and eat, if you are doing it properly the butter will be running down your face. I would suggest you dial the emergency room about this time as a heart attack is imminent,
that is one kind of crumpet the other is usually found within a sentence as follows- "PHWOOAR WHAT A LOVELY BIT OF CRUMPET!!!"
this is a slang term and yes it is sexist, referring to an attractive young lady, By the way I totally agree with your remarks about the use of language and the importance of travel to give you a better appreciation of human kind, I once spent two days in a railway carriage from Calcutta to the Nepalese border where I was rejoining my Ghurka detachment, and in that period my immature views on the superiority of the British Empire were given a sharp retraining after speaking with an Indian doctor who gave the Indian view of the "Gentle benevolence of the British Empire," Thanks to that man I grew up with a different view of people from different backgrounds to my own, I have to say that when I returned to the UK a few years later My family had some difficulty adjusting to the new person I had become, it made me much better at dealing with the men in my Platoon as well, I shall always be grateful to that man.
