I don't know anyone that has ordered from them. Hobby Link Japan on the other hand is quite reputable.

8 or 9 tanksJake79 wrote:V.Nice.![]()
But a bit too big for me.
I would never just have one or two tanks Alpha, I would like to build a collection of tanks all one brand like Tamiya 8/9 tanks. Hopefully become very good at it.. I'm just thinking if its worth sacrificing the other brands to achieve it.
Does this count?dgsselkirk wrote:Stack em! LOL!![]()
I have seen guys buy a bookcase and just fill the shelves, really doesn't take up much room at all...
On the brand thing I know it is a lot of hard work modding HL to a bare minimum standard but like Painless sort of said that is 1/2 the fun. And even with adding metal upgrades, Clark boards, sound, motors, gearboxes, and maybe a few other bells and whistles, I'm still at LEAST 1/2 the price of a Tamiya all up. I'm not bashing Tamiya at all. I wish I could have 20 + Tamiyas but with HL I can do it financially...
Nope....not enough Shermanstomhugill wrote:Does this count?dgsselkirk wrote:Stack em! LOL!![]()

Seriously though I have tanks that are complete mongrels, my sturm tiger is a mix of tamiya, taigen, asiatam and henglong!
I love my tamiyas but I've never paid over £300 all in for one.

That's another thing Jake...Tamiyas are prioritized.... sprockets wheels etc ... have to be Tamiya or Impact...Tracks as well...Jake79 wrote:Fantastic collection Tom![]()
I like metal tracks on a tank, been looking at Tamiya's for King Tiger £190Is there a way round this can you use other's...
I actually have henglong panther tracks on on of my tamiya panthers. Tracks are pretty interchangeable, gearboxes just need a couple of holes drilled. You'll also need different sprockets or get your dremel out and grind down the output shaft.ALPHA wrote:That's another thing Jake...Tamiyas are prioritized.... sprockets wheels etc ... have to be Tamiya or Impact...Tracks as well...Jake79 wrote:Fantastic collection Tom![]()
