the source material I have says that rumours from the frontline troops that the zim caught fire when hit was the reason they discontinued it...
I have used all the methods described here. Stencils with airbrush, microsol, laquer thinner, and even just plain old free hand brush painting. I like laquer thinner if I want it to look old and faded and worked in. If it is a complicated 2 or 3 tone number I really like the Montex stencils but you really have to plan when using them as they are applied at different levels of the painting process.

OK ...with all the Chemicals coming into play... A question of my own now appears.... Now I haven't used this "stick" on Zimmerit ... but... I have to wonder ....has anyone had any "LIFTING" problems ?....you know the adhesive softening and bubbling or just peeling away
