You going to use the entire tensioner kit? ...When I did my Stug I found an easier way... without cutting ....I didn't use the entire kit... just the adjuster arm and the metal idler mount ....I did it that way because I didn't want to have problems with the alignment... the molded brackets are plenty strong..

Im going to dry-fit the winterketten & see how it 'feels'
then using a bit of trial & error fit the tensioners if required.

Put the word out if you do ... using the entire kit doesn't necessarily mean it's stronger .... to the contrary...the plastic "molded" assemblies are much more sturdy...and better aligned from the factory....Taigens Matos Asiatams are all pre drilled and installed at the factory....so very little can go wrong...drill one hole off..and you will never be certain of proper placement.... with that said though...the Panzer III tensioners are IMO the best designed tensioners... and don't hurt the look of your tank...as they are exact replicas :D

I looked at the Czech site thats similar to this one(but the spelling is way worse :D ) and there is a close up shot(s) of this tensioner being installed. You are right in saying be careful, by the pictures if its started wrong it will stay wrong.
Looks great & seems to work well, but my Czech needs some work to confirm this !!
