Hi Chris3,

A question from a newbie who is re-building a Jagdtiger which was built by the original owner with several WeCoHe parts, especially on the roof of the fighting compartment. I know we are all anxious to see more of your all aluminum Jagdtiger, which will be the ultimate for this tank. And, I know you have several metal roof parts for the Jagdtiger such as the periscope armored covers, but my question is whether we can still purchase metal hatches and other roof parts from your professional kits for the Jagdtiger?

I'm sure other Jagdtiger fans have the same question.

hi

You mean if you still need to order thse lidel details? thats up to you. In my scratch kit, the hatches are cuted out but thay are only in a easy form so the modeler need to work on it to gt it in the original form

here are a few examples

these parts are included, but as you see, out of the cuted parts you need to do some work bevor thay look like as the original.

also the driver radio operator hatch are included, if you dont like the cnc cuted parts you can easily replace them by profesionlakits parts. because thay have the same dimensions.

Thanks Chris,

Appreciate the information. Actually, I was hoping that the actual hatch rings and hatch covers and roof screws were available in metal. Thanks again.

I can't wait to get mine come tax return time! My wife may kill me but it looks worth the risk.

A huge public "thank you" to Chris for producing this upper superstructure tie-down part in response to stated need for this important detail part to support my re-build. And all this in the course of a single weekend of back and forth email conversation. It's not often in today's world that the hobbyist gets that type response to a request!

Thanks again!!
