Tom? do a GUP KV2....................... ...though it would be interesting to see him leap that threshold ... it's a line he will never cross I think.... with that said though...He does have a set of female crewmembers
Well so stop (to a lesser extent) painless and (more so) Alpha from bludgeoning me to death I've actually done some work on the KV-2 (shock horror) . So fair I've added the tamiya rear deck to allow proper working hatches, removed the pziii cupola and replaced with the second periscope. Added the stowage bins and the supports for the sponsons.
She's going to be a battler so won't be going ott with photo etch or really delicate detail. Will probably add the vampire hidden battle unit from Ian
Tom,
You're always fine with me. I enjoy following your work and this KV-2 will be no exception. Turret cupola replacement is beautifully done as is the rear deck on the HL upper.

Thanks Tom ... Enjoying looking at the restorative effort ....Looks like she's going to have more detail than you say... Hatches all prepped and ready for opening additions...PH fender struts.... I think she's really going to be a worthwhile watch
All leave revoked, Xmas is canceled! I've some bad news, looking at references I've noticed Antony has removed all the moulded bolt detail, I guess to replace with something more scale. This mean I shall literally be rivet counting to restore them! If I'm going to do that much detail I may as well go the whole hog with the rest.....
Some more done last night, added the front hatch, some more front fender supports and added the horn.
Good Morning, Tom,
I just noticed that when you mentioned it. The KV-2 is practically covered with bolts and rivets and welds ( tho' since the first few were pre war build, the welds are finely done and small ) Holy Cow, yes, you have some restoration work in front of you. Knowing your work tho', it will turn out brilliant!
