Well I finished installing the shaft extensions,and installed bushings out on the sides of the tank to help support the shafts and take the load off the gearbox bushings.This works very well and is the best moddification I have done on this style tank.

Well I finished up this project two days ago.I cleaned up the wiring a bit and its a lot cleaner now and not a birds nest of wires.I'm using the stock board and radio and leaving the upper hull stock on this tank.This is going to mostly be a shelf queen so didn't see a need to put all the goodies in this one so it could just set on the shelf.For those who have interest in one of these tanks this build may be helpfull and if you can do all the above,installing better boards and redoing the upper hull is the easy part.Some pictures below----
