Tom,
Sweet detail work per usual. I really love the intricate, extra industrial look of this series of Shermans. Knowing you, you will do the tank proud. The rear deck and fenders are a treat.

Painless

Some more progress today, I'm trying nick aguliars tranny cover on for size. I think I might keep it on! I've also started on the side stowage boxes, still got to add latches and locks but they're comming along. I'm trying to find some photo references of the massive stowage box some had on the back, if anyone has pictures let me know!

Cheers stevie! Some more hatch detail using 1mm brass for the handle and 1.68mm brass tube for the hatch.

Re: Sherman M51; an accidental build.
Been a bit of a marathon build session today, the m51 is finally looking a bit more Israeli! I've started to put bits back on the hull. I've also robbed the lights, horn and brush guards off my tamiya 105 Sherman. I crafted a guard for the horn with brass sheet and some of the unused Mato guards spliced together. I've also added some mesh grilles on the air intakes on the back. I've also rejiged the machine gun to take the full option one.

Next stage of the build will be a bit more lazy as most of the harder to scratch bits are comming from schumo!

I take no credit for the photo's. Just many minutes of trawling google images!
The true stars's for the photo's can be found by viewing the image info.
Interesting to me is the position of the commanders hatch which seems to vary on the M51!! These photo's match the Chileman
Another order placed with Axels!!! .... If they tell me the parts are unavailable again i'm gonna take it personally Tom!
Interested in how your gonna control this beast, DMD swapout or IBU2............?
