Today I've done the rear reflector and been doing the 20T jack. With the voyger PE you have to scratch quite a lot of the jack . I tried to use the hl jack but the main body was the wrong size do I used styrene:

First of the mounts:

With the jack:

Made a start on the jack block:

Unfortunately the styrene supplied is too thick to make the latches so the rest will have to wait till my brass wire arrives.
I have to admire your patience and skill Tom... you would never catch me soldering little parts :haha: :haha: ...pretty amazing how incomplete that jack is though... wouldn't have thunk it when you look at all the other goodies they include with the photo etch set
Very Nice though.... maybe you should just clear coat it so the bling will show for awhile ;)

Have a good one Tom

I think they assume you just rework the bits that you would already have with the hobbyboss tiger. I didn't so was out with the styrene. I have to say it was very cathartic and I was quite pleased after scratching the jack body and various handles. I'm debating whether to use an actually wooden block for the jack block on this.

Tom you have some skill and that's why I love following your builds and as I'm lucky enough to own one of your tigers I can only wait to see how this one comes out but from what I see it will be brilliant

Thanks guys! This I think will be one I'll hold on too, I've been told aber are releasing proper initial front fenders/mud guards and exhaust so I'll be getting my mitts on those!!

Tom - your builds are always fascinating to read and have certainly taught me a lot.

I did a bit more when I got home from work, small tow cable and holders, easy right? Not if your me and snap on of the collars :( Tried soldering back together but gave it up as lost and made my own. Aside from that went together nicely, had to drill out the eyelets but no bigy. However because I'm a massive clod I made a fatal mistake. 10 points if you can guess it!
