Full metal (almost sturm tiger build) weathering begins!

Well apparently we're expecting the worst snow in 50 years....sooo I'll definitely get some videos if I get the chance. She is mighty heavy, could make running on snow interesting!

Dang Tom... don't go out in that snow ! ...keep in mind ... nice day... smooth untouched freshly fallen snow cap....Tank... tearing it up !

You think those HENG LONG motors will handle the weight ?

Blue danube is a member, not sure of on here. I've had several of project of his he's started but sold off part finished. The kit is the asiatam metal version.

Been doing some more work today;

Started work on the additional front armor:



Added the fixtures for the front mudguards:

The end is almost in sight! I've done some more work today. First up was the crude perescioe that comes with the kit. I chopped it off and then filed the hope till I could fit a left over resin scope from my jagdpanther build. The I rebuilt the armoured cover and added weld lines:







Next up was the handle for the hatch, fully functional if delicate!



Out of brass the jack block holder and weld lines:



Finally I added conical bolts and the extra armor up front. Bolts made up from miliput. Hopefully will look ok painted.





All that's left now is the tools on the right rear quarter. My references show the fittings but not what tools go in them so it could be a bit ad lib!

Awful pretty Tom... call me warped... but I like that bare metal look... and could probably stare and relish the outcome for a few days before even thinking about paint
