Too many negative waves Moriarty!

That's why it'll be sealed first and have numerous layers of paint and varnish. You are aware that people have been making RC boats of of wood for decades right?

Besides, if it does I'll just sell it on eBay :)

Hull all glued together and corners sanded. The inner walls are now fixed in place. I wouldn't started filling in the screw heads with car body filler but mine had gone off so a quick trip to Halfords is on the cards next week, I'll also grab some grey primer to get the ball rolling. The 2mm plasticard also turned up today so I can get to work on the deck too!

Interesting build, will it have an anti duck or geese device, I'm thinking flame thrower?

I'm hoping the Airsoft equipped Sherman will do the job Phil :)

Got started with the Isopon car body filler. It's bloody good stuff, in thin layers like I'm using to fill in the screw heads it's dry enough to start sanding in just 10mins! Defo an outdoor job though as it creates a lot of dust even when used sparingly.

P.S. Legs aren't too bad after yesterday's airsofting. Wish I could say the same for the BB bruises on my face from a point blank hosing down

Yeah, one Sherman will fill it up. Having done a bit more research it turns out the real thing wouldn't even hold a Sherman as it's only supposed to be rated up to 30tons. I might just about be able to squeeze my Walker Bulldog into the hold although it'll likely be scraping the paint off both sides!

Probably. The load area is just under 24cms wide, my Landie fits it ok but I assume the Tamiya Hummer is wider even if it is a slightly smaller scale.
