I don't know WOZ worked fine on the T34/85 much better tank all round now  ;D ;D ;D. But I know what you mean who would have thought this 2 years ago. It's just good we at least have a choice with the RC tank hobby and parts/upgrades the average guy can afford with out sweating blood if it " fries ". All the best for now

I've only been in the hobby for about three years but I remember when people used to say that when you get a HL you have to junk the electronics and fit better ones. Now HL electronics are seen as a good affordable option.

Well it arrived yesterday and thanks to the post office one exhaust was snapped and BOTH rear idler mounting points were damaged. So off with the top and on with the superglue. Sorted the rear idlers out and modified the way the rear pannel is mounted ( pictures to follow ). As the top was off checked out the electrics as the tank would switch on but not fire up. Soon got fed up so I replaced the electronics with a spare RX 14 board and reciver. On nights last night and managed to get most things wired up. All I have to figure out is the machine gun flash and airshot wiring. To be honest the Matorro KT is quite a nice model with good detailing ( except for the bulge in the front ). The only observation I will make is the chassis sides are flimsy and will crack easy round the rear idlers. Also the wings from the chassis don't reach the hull sides so a lot of crud will get in I will be adding a styrene filler to combat this. Suspension is also a bit soft in so much as it looks like it will not carry a lot of added weight but works well with the standard tank. Suspension arms are also a little weak allowing the road wheels to bow out a little so I will have to try and address this with a little internal stiffening of the chassis. Or maybe a total rebuild of the suspension system by making my own mountig system for the standard suspension ( like HL did with the Tiger 1 ). But the main one must be rear idler adjustment it needs it. I am thinking of taking the 3 to 1 reduction boxes out of my shelved panzer III and droping them into this baby just to see what it runs like. but that is for later much later. Any questions feel free to ask. All the best for now

Thanks Steve mate. Had a little go with it in work last night. All working OK the only gripe I have is with the slow turn it's pant's. Superspin is wicked, standard left and right turn great, forward and back fine, but it's a nightmare to get it to slow turn left or right just want's to go in a straight line. So it looks like a gearbox swap will be on the cards sooner than I thought LOL. All the best for now

Pictures of rear end modification. All I did was remove the side bars where the rear two hooks are fitted and glued them to the rear hull sides to add rigidity to the rear like so.  A nice clean simple job as the glue fairy was not over generous this time. I will be posting more pictures info in the other builds section of the forum should you wish to follow what I am doing with the KT. All the best for now
