Hi all
Got miles to go'...but its really taking shape .....many hours spent bending plastic card ...and a pile of filler ..which i don't really like to use ....but hay ho ..looks the part .....i had to compromise a bit to accommodate the hl low profile gearboxes ...but i am happy .....

Hi all
And thank you for the comments so far ! ....
Sat down last night with the intention of doing some work on the engine deck ... but nope ...got my fingers mixing green stuff filler ...table salt ..and liquid poly cement to make up a paste to act as the cast effect on the transmission drive cover..and also applied to the front of the casement ....well i had to see how it would look .....
Just a warning about the mix of green stuff ..salt..and liquid poly ...it smells ..if you use this idea ..make sure its in a well ventilated room ...

Did a bit more last night ..stayed up to the wee small hours in peace n quiet
And just went with the flow .....looking a lot better now its coming together

Hi all
Finally got a bit more done ..i seem to be spending a lot of time finding parts
And bashing the plastic ..and slow but steady the tortoise is coming together ...there still so much to do like the back of the hull.....
Now the detail work begins ...just ordered 1000 1/16 x 1/4 copper rivets ....
