Those resistors last a long time...I have some that I've been using for more than 2 years.
The only thing I do every 4 months or so , is to scrape the carbonized kevlar wick off the resistor and put a new one..

Sadly enough; they are also hard to find on this side of the pond.

I bought mine from this supplier in U.S. http://www.surplussales.com/Resistors/W ... 0-169.html

They are out of stock for the 14 Ohms 1 Watt that I was using, so I ordered some 14 Ohms 2 Watts...

Although their prices for parts are reasonable; they make quite a bit of profit on their shipping costs...

My last order was for 20 resistors at $1.00 each (= $20.00) and the shipping costs from U.S. to Canada are $30.00...( so the resistors cost me $2.50 a piece)...

Shipping out of the continent must be astronomical...

I'm very sorry. Just one last stupid question.
You mean to say that in front speaker, you have the sounds of TK22 and benedini. And on the smoke unit, the sounds from benedini
only. Right?

I'm very poor at schematics. Could you kindly post a easy to understand diagram of the wirings? I'm a little bit confused.
Is it possible to connect two audio output to one speaker? Say one from Benedini and one from TK22. And how about the output signal
from Benedini to the amp input? Did you double the output connecting wires from the Benedini to have one for front and the other to the amp?

Very confused here. Sorry that I'm too stupid.

You cannot connect 2 output signals to the same speaker; but you can connect 2 output signals to the input of the power amplifier driving that same speaker...
On the wiring diagram below, the output of the Benedini is split in 2; one part ( in red) goes to pin 3 of CN4 off TK22 and connect with the output of TK22 to the audio amp. (built in the TK22) to power the front speaker; mixing the effects of TK22 with the Benedini...

The other part of the Benedini output ( in blue) goes to the power amp. of the smoke unit...

Hi There,
Thanks to you I was able to mix the sounds of the tk22 and benedini.
As for the smoke unit, still in development. Surplus Nebraska is out of stock for the 14 ohms 1 watt and for the 14 ohms 2 watts resistors. So they suggested for a 15 ohms 2 watts and I agreed.

Problem is the battery voltage or the wick. Tried using 7.4 v lipo but it seems the smoke build is taking too long. Is it because of the resistors?

Also about the wick your using. Can't seem to find them here. Any other wick you can recommend? Tried using the stock HL wick but it burns out quick.

My setup is 7.4 volts for heater power 15 ohms 2 watts for heater element and HL smoke oil. Can't find a wick for this setup.

Any suggestions will be much great full.

There's quite a few places on e-bay where they sell kevlar cords or kevlar wicks...

As for the smoke taking time be visible; I always connect the heater element to the power switch and let it build up inside the smoker before starting the tank...
