Have the mantlet arms re-glued and gussets in place. Broke the resistor for firing LED though (trip to radioshack). Cleaned the crap out of the barrel with frog lube. A water based cleaner/lubricant we use on our firearms. Should be ok for any plastics it says. Plus de-burred both ends of the barrel also. Any who, need a little re-soldering and see what happens! All those 2 to 2.5mm heli screws sure come in handy smoetimes!! Off to radioshack -

You can bypass the resistor and LED as it is only an indicator to say your about to fire.

Yeah but it looks cool. Hope they gave me the right on. Original is BLUE_SILVER_BLACK-680 ohm he said when he looked it up on the computer. The ones he gave me are much bigger and BLUE_SILVER_BROWN.They actually say 680ohm on the package. Hope they are the right ones!!!

Well the first is 68 ohm and the second is 680 ohm so you may find the LED is not very bright, but shouldn't cause any damage.

Must be my luck but I never put any resistors on the LEDs and IR emitters. And I just lucky or what damage am I causing ?

So I should have a total of 68ohm versus 680. Need to know, cuz the turret is going back together shortly!!! Thanks guys

The gussets and the barrel installed..WEW, some good technical stuff. Still need to solder the resistor. Blank silver lead is at bottom right (original from tank LED..Soooo...68ohm or 680ohm??? Thanks to all of ya all!!!
