Hi all . I originally ' bodged ' the Tamiya Panther G road wheels onto my Pantiger conversion . I have now made some steel inserts that fit into the Tamiya wheels and drilled them so that the standard HL pins go through them. Ive got to decide if Im happy how they sit on the Pantiger (see under view pict ) As I have used the Tamiya parts designed to go inside the wheel as spacers .Also I have the skirts to fit . I then need to adjust the drive sprocket and get a set of adjustable track tensioners .

Heres the home made idler adjusters . As I couldnt get them to tighten once I got the possition I required , I glued them in place . This can be relesed and altered but to be honest think I will leave it be for now.

Hi thanks mate . Theres a lot of work involved . But I like the Panther Ausf.A and thought it would be easyer to alter my old Pantiger than chop up the new HL Panther G . I have used a new HL Panther G turret though but back dated to the A model and Tamiya Panther G road wheels and the correct Panther width tracks not the old HL Tiger/Pantiger ones that were just correct for the Tiger and to wide for the Panthers. Ive got a HL Panther G from Dave but not started that just yet.

Thanks Andy

Ive sprayed it now with the Klear floor polish , so got the shiny look . But this will go when I apply the varnish coats after the weathering , I hope . Im guessing Ive got that wright .
