Very classy Mr Wolf, and subtle weathering (like the 'b' in subtle!) sure does sign it off as one of yours
Stencils produced great results too, Mr Rads pretty clever with those things

Thank you for looking in! I like the ( lucky ending ) weathering effects on this Jagdtiger. It is obviously newish from the factory but has been run in and is on it's way to do bad things to enemy armor. Rad's stencils are my default anymore for these complex builds. One of these days, the major Manufacturers will catch up with the idea.

Painless! I wouldn't be surprised if many of the Jagdtigers were in rather good shape as you represent yours here. Then in moments kaput, from short glory to more misery, men and materiel mangled on a sad battlefield.

I just had fun using Magic Grime to make a real mess of a winter white KV-1. I had fun using it--and it does readily wash off hands after all the jolly mucking about.

That is one of the things that has often struck me about the amazing machines that Mankind creates, tank, trucks, ships and planes, ad infinitum. Beautifully designed and executed then most often used to destroy their creators and eventually be wasted in some theater of War. We model them and respect the awesome potential that they embody and gawk at the few remaining examples decades on. Whew. The Magic Grime is a fun and new to me weathering tool. A simple application and wipe had the running gear of the Jagdtiger looking pretty much as I like it whereas before, a lot of dusting and dabbing would have been needed to get close to the same effect. Thank you, Jnewboy! Thanks for looking in Herr Doctor. ;o)

Finally got the Commander and Loader figure in from Torro. Cleaned these guys up and installed them on the Panzer. The Build is truly done now. This Post will be followed up by a Show Off thread and Countertop Video Link. Once again, a couple of feet of snow and sub zero temps preclude doing any tanking outdoors yet. Once some good weather blows in, I will do a video afternoon for several vehicles needing an outdoor run. Until then:
