That new brake adds a little more class to an already classy build.
I thought they were machined rather than cast ?
Well ya learn a bit every day eh!.........

To be honest Herman. I have no clue if they were machined or cast. Didn't find it mentioned in any of my books yet. Aber does it machined. The pictures in the construction sheet show some texture. Other museum pieces are without texture. Which is correct I can't really tell. The texture is my artistic license here. On top of that, Mr surface stick to brass very well and is a great foundation for the paint. Was so overwhelmed that I ordered the muzzle brake for the Jagdpanther as well. A good reason to revisit that tank.

OK. Sockelshop got one Panther muzzle brake in quicker than expected. So added some more parts. Muzzle brake for jpanther, some wing nuts and numbers/letters. I hadn't seen these before. So some casting marks are possible now.Image

Red maybe? IsNT that a usual color for rear reflectors? I will do it red.

Hey STHV, here is the Tagen barrel with the aber muzzle brake. Shortened to 21.7 cm. The threaded part is just slightly smaller than the barrel id. But there is still enough contact to glue it in.Image

Awesome, glad to know i wont need to buy a new gun barrel!
I found an image of the Littlefield Panther and it does indeed have a red reflector
All i need now is a clear image of the pistol port plugs, i have only been able to find one very low quality image of the left plug open but its too low quality to get any detail

I think the Tamiya 1/35 Panther has them but i cant find a ny instructions online to take the details from

Oops, I meant the 1/35 Tamiya Panther Ausf D, the pistol ports were deleted when the turret was redesigned for the Ausf A
