UHHHHHHHHHHHH...Yeah lol....Not that raising the views on your thread count isn't a bad thing....what it boils down to is I'm too strapped for time to go look for it but it's there somewhere lol
You had a great idea for sure, and I will get to trying it........................or, I could spend $20 and get a perfect one from Germany
I just want to cover the existing one so its a battery-on indicator & thats it.
Once I get the blister-pack trials going I will report the results

Spend the 20 ...you know you want too
ALPHA
I care not for view counts, nor the post/rank ratio, I would still post without either because I enjoy it, and the flow of interaction resulting
LOL...Cutting to the chase...I'm too lazy to go look for it
As for the $20, that would be ideal, but a bit late. As long as the light is better than it is now, and thats not a huge leap !, and it reminds me the switch is on, I'm happy.
Plus, my recent run of overseas parts supply has put me off a bit.
I do happen to have a good stock of Panther Night Fighting hardware..................over $100 bucks worth that I really wont ever use, so a less than perfect light will have to do.
I reckon your idea will work, its a good one, all up to if I can pull it off.
Yep...ordering anything from anywhere can really put a dull edge to any build...at least you have two decent outlets to go to...here we pretty much have nothing...the sadder part is the one RC shop that does exist..just won't bring in any tank stuff

ALPHA wrote:Three Options...you can look for one made by aber...use your own fine brass/ aluminum tube use what's remaining of the broken gun and shove it in the end ...you only need a small section ..it will catch the light as well as fiber optic...maybe better...or clear plastic sprue stretched to the correct diameter
For what it's worth, both
rctank.de and
Tank-Modellbau do a metal DT for the T-34.
Yeah...I know they exist...I think Schummo made one...but I'm not sure that company is still solvent....the gun is tiny on the T34...I would think if you search or browse hard enough the gun could be replaced by a 1/35th scale ABER Barrel
Also might not be all that great to order such a small item....personally I would just do it from scratch

Schumo parts are made by axels modellbau and are still solvent. It seems though that they've cut back supply to external suppliers.

Much appreciated Sir, I feel it appropriate to add a bit of red dust to it before a show off thread.
Thanks for looking in

HB ,
Great work mate, it looks fantastic. The bed springs are awesome, well done. What is the solder paste, you use? I don't think there is anything like that available over here in the states? If there is I hope someone can point me to it.
Stunning work again Herman

Ahh yes, I have only glazed pots so the cheap pot foot worked a treat !
Still to add some on the turret and dusting over all then the catwalk presentation as you say !

G"day Mr Castor, nice to see you're still around.
I'm out at work at the moment so I can't really help you, but Mr Kaiser should be able to direct you as to the kind of stuff we are talking about. Surely in a first world superpower you can buy simple solder paste !!
Try a dedicated electronics outlet, that's who has it for us here.
Thanks for the kudos, appreciate it

Heres a couple of pics of the solder paste, but of course its made here this particular one.
I will find the stuff that I was put onto & post that as well.
Im sure that a good electronic store, or perhaps Hobby Shack over there would have it.
