I am beginning to understand why we don't see German Armour of the period with rear view mirrors, Definitely a pointless exercise if some bugger is going to bolt large wooden crates down the side!!!
Good to have you back Herman, we missed you. shaun

Cheers to you Mr Jarndice, I too have missed the flurry of activity and creation that keeps us fueled up for this thing we do.

Well, Ive got there. The rocket crates are dry-mounted in position, the turret rotates with the barrel down & all is right with the world ;) ;)
I'm now looking to run the firing cables from each station, and the dreaded detailing & paint.
Still need to check on where my night fighting hardware is in the world though. :problem:

Got welds to place, the rocket 'axles' to secure for removal, tools, track link storage pins to join to chains, the night vision hardware to mount, crate members to replicate,..................loads to keep me on my toes like a midget at a urinal :wtf: (thanks to one of the Rugby characters for that one- I love it !!)

Absolutely brilliant, totally original and really well done. It's going to look stunning once the paint is on.

In a word - none.
Been a real upheaval since getting back from Galipoli.
Lost job, got new job. Lost Internet - still not resolved , I only have phone access.
New job no good and dangerous culture exidts so constantly in threat of harm. Drilling is inherently a dangerous industry, but cowboy mentality is even worse.
Kids have been sick, so has wife.
Just life being like a ride in a tumble drier !

Sorry about the poor form lately but things will straighten out soon I'm sure

Herman,
Take care of yourself, Doc. I hope the wife and kids get better right away and as far as the new job, You have always struck me as a fellow who can take care of himself. Don't prove me wrong.
with all regards,
Painless

Mr Wobbly, as one of the recognised guru's on how to create original excellence from virtually nothing, you do me a great service. Thanks.
The project is at a stall for the moment, but once back on track, the paint is my distant conundrum.
One things for sure though, it will NOT be an Octopus Panther I can give you the drum :wtf: :/ :/ !!!!

Cheers mate.
Got a bolt from the blue today by way of an offer I could not refuse.
New job ( Cowboy-free) $40K more, and even time 3 on-3 off.
Im looking to really get after this opportunity after 8 years in one place................change can be a block, but to me its a whole 'nuther door to kick in & make a go of.
I have rigged up a pre paid internet dongle until the service provider gets a van out to fix me up so Im back on the air so to speak.
Just need the winter bugs to piss off & I will be like a pig eating strawberries  :haha:
