I did say the last update would be the final one before she went to be shown off and declared finished. However, Im so please with the result of my latest test I thought I would share the results.

I've made some tarps out of lead foil, great stuff which I think looks pretty convincing. Painted a slightly different sandy grey shade to break things up more than anything.

Can you post a pic of the raw material please. Also, did you get it from a plumbing supply place or dare I say, a dolls house shop :O :O

It comes as a flat sheet, mine become slightly crinkled

I have cut and painted a piece read for use as a mantlet dust cover but I fear my elevation unit wouldn't copy with the stress!

OOOOOOOO Brain Damage stuff :haha: ...ever think of wrapping some of it on a spring and make some intake hoses for the Tiger ;)

It's what I'm going to do on my KUROMORIMIRO Tiger revamp...working on her now ;)
