Steiner, spent alot of time looking at your tank tonight.Frame by frame it really looks good the way the different colors blend when thy overlap instead of looking like lines of color it just changes for one to the other. That was what caused me to strip and repaint, the lighter grey I mixed wrong and the white was to thin so the dark grey bleed through. On my 1/6 TIGER VI I think I will copy you camo pattern.I no that it is mid to late production, copula, single light,no road wheels, and no air cleaners.Just like the way it has come together.SAX.
Sax, have you stripped the paint back on your 1/16 Tiger again ? Is that since you posted your last pics, after you had applied the Klear. I thought it was starting to look really good. I would love to see your 1/6 Tiger with the same camo applied. Brilliant.

No,I am waiting on the ronseal from the UK,I am talking about painting my 1/6 scale like yours. It is mid to late production so grey is out. I just like it and it is similar to late war GROSSDEUTSCHLAND tank camo on the eastern front.Although my one 1/6 figure is SS,so the outfit I model could change but most late model eastern front units were alot alike in camo. Many used the same refit area's and these refit units were their to service all armor. No more easy off, just have a couple of runs I would like to make go away.Cheers Blake

Hey guy's,250ML Ronseal/matt finish should be here wed. Will be finishing up my TIGER then and will be installing a new battle system from rccommand about two weeks later.I am keeping airsoft/recoil but am going to pull out the Rx-18 i/r stuff and will be using the new system from Bill. Oz and STIENER here are some pictures of the big boy, must be completely repainted.Steiner which SS UNIT are you modeling? I am a little confused as to the unit? OZ,what type of glue/bonding agent do you suggest I use to repair the ABS exhaust guards and some of the minor parts like head lamp support and small front fender piece? Sax

thats the stuff mate, i must have spent a small fortune on different types of model varnishes tamiya humbrol etc, until i discovered ronseal this tin will last you a very long time.
so after the first coat you can dry-brush the tank then add more pastels if you want, and the colors really start to show through............cheers oz.

Great OZ,for a minute I was a little worried.Today has been the day for bad news.UPS denied the claim because it was signed for a delivery, not by me but that does not matter, nor the fact that I called them at once.So the vendor said they will dispute this with their UPS rep.Bottom line my 1/6 TIGER VI is mine as is.So as soon as the ronseal arrives I will finish the 1/16,and then I will start the paint work on the 1/6.I have already repaired the exhaust guards, and the paint will hide the glue lines.I still feel lucky because I have two great tanks and some good friends and 2000+people watching me you and bran to see us finish this thread.Blake
