The reason why I asked, I wanted to work on some heat induced discoloration by applying a technique I recently found on the IPMS Toronto Brabakan Channel. That is: spraying with 80-90% thinner and applying opaque layers. He is using Tamiya paint. But I guess you can use Vallejo as well

So I build up a Gradient of discoloration, First starting with my own Dark yellow mix (50/50 7028 and 1001) and then added a view Drops of Vallejo Rust 71.080. After That a mix of 7028 and Mahagony 70.035. So first getting yellow orange, then yellow orange Brown, then I followed with Mahagony in thinner and ended with dark yellow in thinner. That is the intermediate and the result. So the discoloration is based on the original Colors and has a orange/Brown tinge.
The chipping Looks a bit odd still. But I guess it Comes together with the Pigments added.
