Herman,
Your T-34 is some amazing work! The end of the War is plainly writ in it's lines. For your headlight, sand the led down flat, paint the flat surround face around the bulb silver and use the sprue set from Tamiya, the one for their KV series tanks. You will need the ring and lens only.
regards,
Painless

Smart, wise advice Mr Painless.................but I cannot be assed with getting hold of a Tamiya sprue for such a minor issue really :/
It will come, like death, gravity & taxes, the result is inevitable.
Appreciate the kudos on the final outcome, it wasnt a bad result for my first crack at a Russian

It does work ...I do it all the time...have three antenna ends already modified to do the job..so if it doesn't work for you...You can blame me :D ...but really I know it's no fault of mine lol ;)

It'll just be chalked up to another thing I can do and others can't :haha: :haha:

Get your bets down now....I've actually told Mr B about the technique several times...I think if you look at the beginning of this thread it's there too :haha:
So there's a good chance an attempt won't even be made ;)

Bending mesh over an aerial end is not using it as a form-tool for a blister pack !!!
You had a great idea for sure, and I will get to trying it........................or, I could spend $20 and get a perfect one from Germany :eh:
I just want to cover the existing one so its a battery-on indicator & thats it.
Once I get the blister-pack trials going I will report the results

Excellent Mr. Bix, you can be proud of your work.
I would perhaps still give the model a fine dust coat from bricks and mortar, corresponding to your brick debris. Of course only when you hold your airbrush gun next time in your hands. So you have also enough time to think about it and decide.

UHHHHHHHHHHHH...Yeah lol....Not that raising the views on your thread count isn't a bad thing....what it boils down to is I'm too strapped for time to go look for it but it's there somewhere lol :D

Thanks for your kind consideration Mr Hotte
I had thought to add the red-ish dust and a little general masonry dusting as well, just got to let it sit & see how things look for a bit, then decide as you say.
I agree it would certainly have had more dust as a result of much overhead collapse and airborne dust from falling walls etc, its just a matter of how much before its too much ?
I reckon it will get more..................

I care not for view counts, nor the post/rank ratio, I would still post without either because I enjoy it, and the flow of interaction resulting ;)
As for the $20, that would be ideal, but a bit late. As long as the light is better than it is now, and thats not a huge leap !, and it reminds me the switch is on, I'm happy.
Plus, my recent run of overseas parts supply has put me off a bit.
I do happen to have a good stock of Panther Night Fighting hardware..................over $100 bucks worth that I really wont ever use, so a less than perfect light will have to do.
I reckon your idea will work, its a good one, all up to if I can pull it off.
