Thanks Folks, I genuinely appreciate the credit from peers I respect & learn from.

I had a bit of a lucky strike I you will.
A mate of mine has bazigagillions of figures............(yep, thats a decimal term :shifty: )
Some he likes......the ones I got from him = he does not :problem:
Me however ? well being the bottom-feeder that I am & not one to pass up anothers cast offs, these jokers are bloody sensational ! ;)

Familiar as they are to all of us, I swapped the heads from one to the other, cut the torso's violently short, and set the arms in place to suit the casemate roof & hatches for the loader.
For what I need, they are going to be good enough once painted.
Summer uniforms, small stature, easily cut low, and best of all..........free

Good Morning, Herman!
Those Figures Look Great even unpainted ( That Fellow with the Officers Cap desperately needs a Bottle of Schnapps in his clutching fingers! ;0) and go along perfectly with the Amazing Build that you put together! I love this particular piece of Armor and am looking forward to building mine. The work that you have done here will be a very solid road map to look over when that time comes.
regards,
Painless

The TC will have a set of Zeiss binoculars in that hand once finished.
But he could do with a Cognac to calm down a bit!!.
He’s a bit edgy :haha:

Bit of progress on these jokers.
Went with one having the black Panzerwrap and the other in a reed-green version of the same style. Sturmartillerie did that back in the day apparently.
Piping the crusher cap is always the single biggest challenge.
The red rayon piping that needs to around the crusher, collar insignia and shoulder boards is making me fret !!

Looking good so far Mr.B but that was the easiest part too haha!
About that piping….try to lay the hand which holds the brush to rest on somekind of a support.
A block of wood or even a thick book.
That might help getting a steady hand.
Good luck!
Rob.
