Still a few more bits to do on the rear of the turret but nearly done

I thought the soldering of the rear baskets would be trickier, but I found using a wooden baseplate and panel pins to hold everything down and in place while I soldered worked a treat. :D

Hmmm, I just realised I've got the smoke grenade launchers to design and print, that's going to be interesting!

It just needs three brass rod pegs on the three corners adjusted to the corect length and mounted on the turret, oh and one needs to be printed mirrored.

Mine are printing now, 2hrs 40mins for both with 0.1mm layer height.

Just got my recoil & barrel lift servos working, as I wanted to use a slightly smaller gear wheel for the lift, the bolt holes were in a bad position, so rather than bonding the lower turret location ring into place I bolted it into place in 3 positions, just in case I need to get in to change the servos. This enables me to get to the lift servo really easy, good do as I’ve bonded it in placeImage
