i  have done 10 1/16 and about 30 or so 1/35 tanks dozens of figures aircraft and dioramas with my tin and its still about half full its well worth it...............oz

i thought maybe 2 or 3 hundred hits and thats it, BOY!! was i wrong its a shame we don't know the rest of the guys who looked in and made this such a great thread, i was just saying to sax how guys can become friends without even meeting each other all because of a love for Armour.

maybe i should do a thread on fading paintwork using the oil dot method  ...................cheers oz.

Thats a great idea, I would love to see that method. I was going to ask you, if you would do a thread on figure painting, because that Tank Commander in your WSN Tiger was brilliantly done.

Guy,s where are the Russian and American Tank camo patterns?The Pershing has been around' I guess when the Sherman's finally come out we may see some paintwork on them,but the KV-1 AND T-34 have been out long enough.Were the German's the only tank artist in the war?Was olive drab the only color?No way,the same as the aircraft,these guy's painted their tanks,so why has no one posted any other tanks?Just seems odd.Sax

Steiner,spent alot of time looking at your tank tonight.Frame by frame it really looks good the way the different colors blend when thy overlap instead of looking like lines of color it just changes for one to the other.That was what caused me to strip and repaint,the lighter grey I mixed wrong and the white was to thin so the dark grey bleed through.On my 1/6 TIGER VI I think I will copy your camo pattern.I no that it is mid to late production,copula,single light,no road wheels,and no air cleaners.Just like the way it has come together.SAX
