Cheers lads.
Well, apart from the headlight which just seems to be lingering without a satisfactory solution, this Soviet beast is done.

I went off to the chain hardware shop (Bunnings in my case) and got a pot foot. Its a ceramic casting that folks use to place outdoor pots onto when wanting the pot to drain correctly. Normally they buy 3 or 4 per pot. I needed the one.
Bashed it with a hammer & it splintered quite nicely.
Bashed enough to give a good helping of brick debris and dust material.

Also got a couple of ice block sticks & burnt them ;) ............they charcoal'd pretty well.
Snapped the hold-onto bits off & placed them in spots I believe they could have ended up in falling or being driven through.
Mixed up a very diluted brew of PVA white glue & water & applied in areas low down on the hull and other bits.
Basically dumped the brick debris out of the newspaper I had it on & waited.
Gave it a chance to take & went outside.
Tipped it over and gave it a shake.
Might still put some on the turret, but not sure of this yet.

May I present "VENGEANCE" .............T34/85 , Berlin, 1945

Thanks for looking in and for your comments

Ole Pablo eh !!...............like to say Im related but no such luck.

Its taken on its own look after everything has dried out & set properly. The bricks have taken the white glue, a light wash of tan filter looks like cement, and outside of the headlight, which can be done any time I find a suitable way of doing so, its pretty good.
The exhaust stain also needs doing but I couldn't be bothered getting the airbrush out for a small job. Next time its out I will dust a bit of black & rubber black under them

There is a Saturday meeting of the North Brisbane RC Tank Club on the 26th so I will try to make that one with all 7 in tow !
I'm not set up for rc IR battles, but I will have a good old drive around and see how they hold up.

Nice call on the brick debris Herman, that's a great effect. Definitely looks the goods, the Volkssturm are already running in fear!

Can be done once I figure out what I'm going to use for it.
Three Options...you can look for one made by aber...use your own fine brass/ aluminum tube use what's remaining of the broken gun and shove it in the end ...you only need a small section ..it will catch the light as well as fiber optic...maybe better...or clear plastic sprue stretched to the correct diameter
For what it's worth, both rctank.de and Tank-Modellbau do a metal DT for the T-34.

Yeah...I know they exist...I think Schummo made one...but I'm not sure that company is still solvent....the gun is tiny on the T34...I would think if you search or browse hard enough the gun could be replaced by a 1/35th scale ABER Barrel
Also might not be all that great to order such a small item....personally I would just do it from scratch ;)

Its done, I just used a suitable section of steel from a big paperclip.
Near enough really. It does disappear on the front of the tank anyway .
Its the headlight I have been searching for a replacement item for .
Even looking at small scale VW Combi vans for the lens but still not quite right.

Have you tried the heated antenna top on to some blister pack....the result is similar to that ping pong ball you used on your other tank but clear...You could also experiment with your wire mesh wrapped on it first...heat it after ...then press it into the blister pack plastic...I haven't tried this yet...but in theory it should leave a cross hatch mark on the plastic ;)

Youre kiddn me !!!
Idea
No way I would have come up with that.
Clear material I get, got plenty around from kids toys & have already mucked around with it, but to hatch it with mesh !!...............no way, not me.

I call it reverse vacu forming lol....not havIing a vacuum chamber available came up with the process ;) ...Mentioned it many many times lol as I don't consider the idea "Top Secret"...as I'm pretty sure someone has done it before ;)

But to the best of my knowledge...I'm the first :haha: ...probably because of some loose marbles rolling around in me skull :shh:

Try it...Like Green Eggs and Ham...you just might like it ;D ....Just break out that butane torch heat the wrapped end of a scrap antenna...and push it into the plastic....just do a few experimental runs so you get the right temp...too hot and you will punch through ;)

ps. No I'm not kidding :D
