Got all the Panzer putty off, painted the tools with 'wood' paint on the handles, and used XF27 Black Green rubbed over with pencil for the tool heads.
The barrel cleaning rods are brass tube with small screws with the heads cut off glued into counter-drilled ends, scraped with a saw to add texture, then painted with 'wood' !!
I use a coat of burnt sienna, then another almost drybrush of Raw sienna to raise the grain. The jack block will be done the same way before it all gets sealed.
All tools apart from the track pin clip pliers are fitted.
Ive split one of the tow shackles & fitted a C-hook then glued the shackle back together on the rear(as in the real picture)
Next will be to add the tow cables, and track pull cable & mounts then seal it & begin the weathering process.

That looks bloody marvellous

And I'm stealing your pencil lead on the metal tool heads tip, what a fantastic "painting" tip for realistic metal tools

Herman,

That is a mighty fine looking K.T. you have there. I heartily endorse Mick's words!

Thanks lads, it means a lot to get the kudos for a fun pass time.

Been a bit slow here, lots of Tennis on the TV !
Got the right side accessories all on & finished.
The cables worked out exactly as planned with each fixed end going into place, and the loose ends being secured with gel super glue once all the rest were in position.
The left side is going to be a bit different as these Tamiya thingo's have to be opened each time a battery gets changed :/
Hard to place tow cables in the ready-use position when the hull halves need to come apart, as is my preference . :problem:

All that aside, its shaping up ok, and I have a few things to do for other folks before a show day in another town 6 hours drive away, so I need to get the other bits done for that too, over this thing.
