So you got 1 of the working Ludwig gun barrel travel locks too? Did you get plastic or metal? I went with metal, figured it'd hold up better then the plastic.

I haven't got one yet was just waiting to see how yours fits and works first but will probably go metal

Got a metal one. Its was expensive enough let alone the you-beaut brass one.
I 'swapped' a load of PzIII parts for it.
Really nice though, Chris does an outstanding job on them.
I will now of course, HAVE to get a proper scaled metal barrel assembly. The Matorro one is too short & too fat

Measure the barrel to make sure Herman. Remember the Jagdtiger barrel was shorter and larger diameter then a King Tiger barrel. I thought mine was too short tI'll I did the math.

Going by the length of a JT barrel the scale 1/16th should be around 438mm I think

As I understand it, the Jagdtiger had a 128mm gun , length 55 calibre. In 1/16, this is 440mm.

This is the barrel Im going to get.
I will get the resin mantlet as well.
The Matorro barrel is only 300mm long including the mounting unit . Apparently these are about 35mm too short.
