OK...Back to the grind...
UP again
The Carro Armato
and maybe the Crusader
Have to whittle down the stack of models that has accumulated the past few days ...the timing has been good so far...but the Stug paint took a tad longer than anticipated

Whew...took awhile...and a lot of concentration...but the deed is done
Probably the most complicated ....but most rewarding paint schemes of the series...but well worth the effort...No Banners....maybe later
as this is only the first attempt at this pattern...will probably do it a few more times
The Barrel alone took four hours ...and yes...I just noticed I put one of the tracks on backwards
PANZER VOR Gents
ALPHA
I neglected to mention...this model was an old Dragon Kit...it had glue on tracks...I trashed those ...and with much luck won an auction on EBAY ...a "Junk Lot" of five pairs of tracks...according to the auction there were two Panzer IV tracks...turns out they weren't ... one was a set of Panzer III tracks...and with a lot more luck they arrived yesterday ...just as I finished the paint

Whew baby ....decided to go with the Crusader....what a Challenging model....chose it because the box is ugly...and after studying the instructions found it was the easiest to do...almost 3/4s way done....have a little pre paint to do before adding the skirts....then all the tiny detail parts

Good morning,
Kiaser, I've inquired after Alpha with someone who is close locally. Nothing to report back about. It is what it is at times. I wish that the love of Armor would override the differences between my friends here but I realize that I am just being silly to even wish it.
regards,
Painless

This isn't mine Kiaser....but there are several guys who have already converted the model to RC
Stock it just runs like a 1/35th motorized model...Forward and Backwards
This guy said heck with GUP ...and did it up Historical style
Gutted out a Heng Long...and just transferred everything

The tank was priced so good ...I couldn't pass it up...150 US free ship ...There was a bit of skepticism when it came to the tracks...but when Sass and I opened the box and pulled it out....found surprisingly that they were very durable...two piece rubber plastic ..riveted
The motors sound a tad noisy...but in all the videos I found...everyone who has one has been having a blast with it

Back to the grind....RESEARCH TANK: Italere / Revell Crusader
painted according to the upcoming GUP movie
Not a great model...Not a bad model...Typical Italere as the fit was something to be desired.. With that said...the overall result is not bad
