Yea going great guns now got a few bits off of a friend he had the TAMIYA M51 but compleatly muck it up. He's going to bring it round the weekend said I could have it :clap:. But don't know what's there or what's missing. Brian...

Well the heng long Sherman is still in the box never been run this is from a friend who I used to race with in our 4wd club sadly long gone still got my cars somewhere in the loft. And the m51 well don't know what that's going to look like :crazy:.Still can use it for something. House looks like a tank factory at the moment. So yea done very well lately saved a lot of money :thumbup:. The lower part of my 51 is all done and painted should have the rest by tomorrow or Friday so will be done by the weekend :wtf:. Hi Fynsdad.
Like that top notch :thumbup:. You seam to be the forums Sherman expert :clap:. I have seen post that say the tracks on the HL Sherman are wrong?? If so will the MATO ones fit!! Or do I have to change the sprockets any plus the gun mantel I have the 17lb barrel from that new part work firefly. Any info would be of great help. Brian...

there is a slight difference in the pitch and the sprocket/gear shaft have different thickness, the mato tracks/sprocket do run on hl but as rough as a badgers arsoll , see dave he had some mato hl fit tracks in stock ............... not doing any more threads /builds may put up some photo,s in show off or your ,s/ others build thread .......wot wot ........
