Hey all, slow updates, sorry. Been nursing an ear infection for over a week. Haven't touched the tank or car in awhile.
Tonight I ran home and worked for hours, as usual hours of work means little actual progress. The only pic worth taking today was of a completed front mud flap.
Damn this look sexy, far improved over the plastic molded onces!
The kit came with plastic rod for the hinges but I ran out to buy some brass rod since I was soldering this whole thing together for extra strength. I'm sure the plastic rod would have made a mess under the torch.

A shame to go to all that effort then the damn things get dissapeared from the front of the tank in short order !!

Sorry, no exciting updates, just dirty boring labor.
Filled all the holes and screws in the body now to hide them. Sanding it is long and boring but another necessary step for detail. Still not done.

Which part? The side or the bottom?
The Tiger hull sides do curve, though you can't normally tell because of the side skirts which go in a straight edge line.
Check these pics on this page:
http://www.tiger-tank.com/secure/gallery8.htm
You can see the curve there.
Edit: Might as well take this time to ask for recommendations on electronics. Who makes the top quality controller boards? What are my better options?
