That's built like a road grader rear end.

Seeing that, makes me think its time to build a scammell as my next tank transporter.

I've upgraded the motor on my B16, and ran it around a little. The 370 35T motor is a night and day difference.

Working on a new truck
GAZ AAA 6x4, but unsure what to do with the back. I spent alot of time planking the back and making fold down sides and tailgate. Now wondering if i should mount a Pak40 in the back!

This little beauty has 2 speed transmission and more or less everything else is custom built for it
6x4 transmission so the front axle not powered and it uses JJRC open diffs and this means it can turn really well

A very nice build Will, That cab is very reminiscent of the Great Patriotic war in the Soviet Union
I cannot help wondering where the idea for the PAK installation came from,
Question, Did you print your own front axle or did you find a dealer,
I have been tearing the remnants of my hair out looking for a "Cart" suspended 1/16th dead front axle,
I ended up shortening a Tamiya 1/14th axle to do the job but I would rather use a proper axle than go around butchering them.

Haha, I seem to have a few pak40 laying around hahahhahaa
Still not sure I keep that or make another artillery piece for the back.

As for front axle, i designed my own and setup a trick little setup. It's a single front transverse leaf, but it can be setup as twin longitudinal leafs if required. Its maybe a little beefy compared to scale, but it looks the part and is strong.

Working on a couple of truck conversions at moment so they can be signed off the massive list of things to do.

JJRC truck with Tamiya halftrack conversion done by a guy called Ruben, then i made the Flak30 2cm for the back of it


Here we have my Gaz AAA 6x4 which i decided to try out the Flakvierling 38 on the back of. Its a big fearsome weapon system!


Has anyone else been working on some trucks, it seems to have gone dead on this thread!
