Don't give up on RC tanks or even Taigen/Torro yet. All of your gremlins have happened to us but it is unfortunate you seem to have had them all happen so quickly on your first tank. .My first Taigen Panther was a maintenance nightmare but I refused to be beaten by it. There is not one single part, drivetrain, hull or turret piece etc left from the original but I always think of it as my first Panther. There are some absolute rock solid RC tanks. Taigen and HL T-34§ for example. Get one of them and then gradually work the gremlins out of your KT.RC tanks are like real life ones. You spend as much time maintaining them as driving especially if you battle or run them hard. It's part of the whole thing I actually enjoy

Have you visually inspected the gearbox to make sure all the screws and/or C clips are in place? I have a Mato gearbox that does this and it's because one of the shafts started slipping out and then I saw it was missing one of the screws holding the motors on. Also, I've had a few gearboxes where the gears were really close together from several stages of the reduction. I had to add a washer to one side to space the gear over a little.

Just pop the center cap off the sprocket with a small flathead screwdriver and then there is just a bolt that you remove with an allen key. It's simple. The best thing I did when I got into this hobby was buying a Tamiya Tiger 1 and building it. You learn how these things work inside and out and also end up with a great tank

I found a way around it, also it isnt the motor's something is putting friction on the left gearbox.
