If you get a printer you can print things for the whole family. Tell the significant other...you are buying it for her. lol

I understand the economic challenge, Herman (although a good 3D printer isn't really all that expensive). In 2022, after a few years of envying all the wonders here on RCTW, I seriously considered a 3D printer--and I could have had it as a gift from my sweetheart. However, as I looked at my mountainous pile of projects (RC AFVs, static AFVs, trains, 1/18 airplanes, egad, what else!), considered all the 3D printed goodies I have bought from others, and considered all that is available online, I decided that I would forego the opportunity. I do, however, disagree: you have demonstrated over and over and over that you are perfectly capable of making a 3D printer work well.

In keeping with the theme of the vehicles in this thread, and current Geo-political events notwithstanding, I decided to whip up a Hell Cannon just because !!
Scrap brass material, a piece of 20mm conduit from the father in laws stash, and a pair of wheels form the "I really have no idea where they came from " department and a bit of time while flicking between the NZ V England Cricket Test and the Aussies V India Test...............

I will go as far as putting welds on this, and perhaps making a BBQ gas bottle ammo round for it, but thats not a certainty.
I want to be able to tow this behind the ' Technical ' Hilux.
No rhyme or reason- just because.
Still to make the tow hitch for the cannon, and a tow bar for the Hilux, so its a bit away from done yet.
I might make a loaders platform too if the mood takes me.
Heres a small scale version, a casual kit if ya dont mind :/

Here in the States, we could use it for 4th of July fireworks. Egad, there must be quite a risk in dropping a mortar shell in that think. I'd bet the loader runs like h___.

That would make a great diorama and with the exception of some of the rubble pieces not that difficult

Be it ever so humble, its in primer!
Decided not to do a loaders step attached to the front, just to avoid the extra work!
As a gag accessory for an accessory vehicle to the actual main build, this here Hell Cannon is near enough ;)
Looks a lot more betterer in one colour.
