The turret looks really good on there Andy! :D It'll also be nice to have recoil as well. The mantlet looks really good as well. I know your like me and never liked the chin. ;) I'm looking forward to seeing more!

Just a few random pictures . I have added the lifting lugs , rear handle and the AA ring all with weld . I have also removed the ariel mount from my HL Panther G top half and replaced my scratch built one.

Hi I have now fitted the metal drive sprockets and idlers (thanks Wargar). Im trying to get this finished for spraying . I want a fadded look like you get on Panthers in Normandy . So going to look into the best way of doing this . More pictures to come . Just been a bit slow. I have added powder to the turret to make the rougth casting look as I havent got any Mr.Surfacer just yet.

Just a side shot showing the tooling and tow cables . Only need to make the wire cutters now . All the tools are stock HL with wooden handles added with the exemption of the hammer thats a metal tool again with a cocktail stick handle . The tow cables are wire cable from B&Q  with Tamiya Panther G stock plastic ends added . The jack block is wooden with metal bands round it and the track cable is from a Poundland picture frame mounting kit as its steel cable as apose to the Wilkinsons brass looking cable I used before  . I have also added the sighting vane to the cupola . The spare track links are again from the Tamiya Panther G . Next job after re mounting the skirt bracket mounting points is zimmereting the turret
