I hear you Louis, I'm not too crazy about overly weathering my models either! But if it roamed S. Vietnam inland of the coastal areas and north of the "delta" then it was likely covered in red mud or dust depending on the time of year.

You know all I could see was the poor soul in the body bag on the ramp - and thought, yeah I wouldn't want to model that either
