In the 70$ ballpark.
90$ for s-bus type + programable ( Able to change sound )

I assume it's just the ability to change the sounds that makes them different in price

yes, that, and S-bus uses one wire between receiver/board

I read up what little information there was about this board on "CLARK"s site but no information on the size of the board or its likely price, Both being relevant to a potential buyer,

I fitted an "Elmod" board in my "Torro" M16 Half Track which leaves me with the original analogue board redundant and I may well see how good bad or indifferent it might be in my eagerly awaited Heng Long Truck.
Waste not want not.
