Look forward to another one of these.
Could one be made to have a removable upper hull?
I have a Jagdpanzer and a Panzer Iv I could have changeable uppers...hmm

Silversurfer brought his along to the meet today. It was just as it was delivered. If anyone doubts what they are getting, or the quality of what Alwyn is producing, I will tell you for nothing that this kit is nothing short of 'oh my God, that is amazing...look at that...look at that'.
It is quite simply as good as it will ever get, top marks to Alwyn!!

Hi AdLav, unfortunately the Nashorn does not fit a standard Panzer IV hull, the hull on the Nashorn was a kind of hybrid PZ III/IV beast which was extended to place the gun at the centre of the tank for weight distribution and handling. The Nashorn hull is about 5cm longer than the Panzer IV. The upper hull is detachable from the lower hull to provide access to gearboxes/electronics etc.
Thanks for the good words Rob, I'm delighted everyone and especially Silversurfer is pleased and impressed with it as it was quite a mission to design and produce.

This doesn't look like much but it's the result (together with what's already fitted to the tank) of about 20 hours of printing.
The print quality from the Creality and CURA 3 has exceeded my wildest expectation. It is vastly superior to what I could achieve on my previous printer so I am very well pleased, plus I know I can set it printing and leave it, which I never could with my old printer.
Now I just have to put it together

Hi Carl, yes I would say it pretty much matches the quality and strength of moulded plastic parts, something which I never thought layer deposition printing would ever achieve.

A testament to how good the design is, Alwyn. Your design nous paired with the Creality's print quality is going to lead to good things.
