Plenty to read up on that's for sure.
I am having no luck getting a reply from Peddinghaus on my B11 decals so it looks like a hand paint effort is upon me.

Nice work. Sorry that I missed so much of this build (all of it really) as it was going along.

The metal suspension was a challenge on mine PzIV as well. Still having problems with it hitting a bump and canting the whole truck to the vertical so that it's only riding on one wheel.

Question for you on the painting: Do you recommend using the Mr. Surfacer 500 before or after applying the primer? I'm planning to us an automotive primer and have plenty of metal - pot, aluminum, and brass - on my tank that might benefit from the self-etching primer. Trying to decide which should go on first.

For the B11, there's a bloke from Canada that did a set of stencils for me. He just needed to know the size (ht x width) and reference photos. I'll get his name from RCUniverse if you're interested. It would be an overseas sourcing...

Well Herman, it was a long time in the making but you got there, and you made a pretty darned good job of it too. Can't wait for the next masterpiece.

Thanks Mr Castor, It was a bit "how-ya-doin" at times, especially the running gear and suspension, but it ended up ok.

G'day Mr Phil, sweet-as mate, just happy you looked in.

The suspension on mine is mounted loose, but still retains the coil spring that is supposed to keep both arms of the bogie down after deflection. Seems to function ok, but not been flogged yet.

As for the Mr Surfacer, it ended up more of a novelty than an enhancement. The sole reason I didnt use my usual self-etching red primer is it seemed to be out of stock when I needed it. I would for sure use good S/E primer, then the surfacer, then paint.
I got a better effect by using super glue rubbed with finger in my King Tiger for rolled armour effect than the surfacer compound.

Yes indeed Im interested. There is a guy here that seems to be an Ebay-Whisperer and hes just found a set of stencils in(wait for it) BULGARIA that are perfect !!
Cynical as I am, best you send me the details for the Canuk joker just in case ! ;)

Well Mr Wobbly, it has had the least attention of them all, given the most trouble, is the cleanest, but still turned out ok ! :/
Running around the club field will dust it up very naturally, and assuming the stencils turn up and the correct turret numbers go on, it should pull together ok.
