Love the look, must start mine when I get back.
Thanks Mr Castor, It was a bit "how-ya-doin" at times, especially the running gear and suspension, but it ended up ok.Markocaster wrote:It sure turned out fantastic Hermanwell done mate
G'day Mr Phil, sweet-as mate, just happy you looked in.philipat wrote:Nice work. Sorry that I missed so much of this build (all of it really) as it was going along.
The metal suspension was a challenge on mine PzIV as well. Still having problems with it hitting a bump and canting the whole truck to the vertical so that it's only riding on one wheel.
Question for you on the painting: Do you recommend using the Mr. Surfacer 500 before or after applying the primer? I'm planning to us an automotive primer and have plenty of metal - pot, aluminum, and brass - on my tank that might benefit from the self-etching primer. Trying to decide which should go on first.
For the B11, there's a bloke from Canada that did a set of stencils for me. He just needed to know the size (ht x width) and reference photos. I'll get his name from RCUniverse if you're interested. It would be an overseas sourcing...
Well Mr Wobbly, it has had the least attention of them all, given the most trouble, is the cleanest, but still turned out ok !wibblywobbly wrote:Well Herman, it was a long time in the making but you got there, and you made a pretty darned good job of it too. Can't wait for the next masterpiece.
