This is a great thread because it shows all the paraphernalia that goes with our tanks - and lucky for us, Jussek's efforts are first class

thank you very much mate, for your kind comments! I'm of the 'old' school, in the old days of internet the forums were a place to share and learn, so i try always to do the step by step procedures of all my buildings, just in case this could be of some use to anyone. Just as i did taking ideas from someone else

best regards

hi mate, what boxes do you mean? the wood ones under the radio on the observation post? or for the MGs?

the wood ones are from a collaborator of our RC club, he is developing a long catalog of ammo boxes for artillery, flak, mortars, tanks, etc , made in real wood, and with stencils for all the marks and lettering for the boxes, in 1/16 scale.

i cannot put any pics yet, i'm sorry.

the boxes for the 3,7cm FlaK43 and MGs are 3D printed. These and the Nebel rockets and tubes have been designed by a member of our club.

best regards!

finally, with the version 2 of the MG ammo belt i'm quit satisfied and they are in production now, to build up all the MG nests of the Panzodrom
with a metal tube and a candle they can be put to the desired shape

here two different shapes, the ammo box is a test one (not painted)

hi chaps

finally, yesterday we could start to build the riverbed with concrete! after 12h of work under a hot sun we build the most difficult part: the skimmer and drainage. These will took control of the water flow and the maximum height of the water. And also the fixed supports of the bridge.

Image

Image

the skimmer and drainage are protected against bad guys with this 'armour', closed with some special nuts

after building aprox the 20% of the river length we run out of building material

Image

we throw dirt, earth and gravel to the still soft concrete in order to cover it. The intention is that the river will look 'less' artificial. Today, with the concrete already set, just a while ago we have swept away excess of dirt and loose gravel (no pics of this stage yet)

best regards

PD: Yesterday we beat the record of cans of beer emptied... ;D
