Re: Bristol Armoured Division
Message for TKCommander.
Andy - Do you want this painted? If you do it will be grey or green, though mid-grey would get my vote (I have already put a dark grey base coat on some of it as some parts would have been impossible to get at after it was all built - the rest is just grey primer). If you want it in a diorama, I can probably do that too. Damned thing was a pig to complete, previous owner had skipped around the instructions, glued bits that shouldn't be glued, missed bits off etc, and to cap it all cut the sprues up so I had no ID letters to find the parts.
It will have to be in the firing position, like it is in these pics as the limbers can't be locked into position cos of the glue monkey, though the ground anchors can't be lowered ...because of the glue monkey...etc etc.
Let me know what you want and I'll see about getting it done.
Cheers
Rob

Very nice Rob, the ultimate anti tank gun, the dreaded 88mm.
Love the scenery work.

Re: Bristol Armoured Division
Ok, I'll post up pics on progress...
A quick blast over with neutral grey. This will leave the darker base coat in the recesses, so creating the illusion of shadows etc.

Re: Bristol Armoured Division
Hell, that almost looks like a road surface!
Last bit of painting for today, and as Andy has now informed me that this is a club gun, rather than his, I can do what I want with it. If only he had told me that before, I would have taken a lot more care to make it perfect....
