Blimey - it's huge!

What axles are you going to be using - Not even sure that a 1/8th Axial Wraith rock crawler would be wide enough?

Some updates, the wife has been busy working seat covers.

I also been designing new little parts for these JJRC Jeeps
Fender mounted siren

https://www.google.com/search?q=willys+ ... Xdjuiy9dM:

Today we have just finished working on the side fender MG Mount for a 30 cal or BAR
Then we are going to do an M48 dash mounted MG mount for the same weapons, plus we have received drawings of the M31c mount which is used in the centre of the Willys Jeep to mount a 50 or 30 cal in the back. So more parts on their way.

What is perfectly obvious is the JJRC Jeep scale is really awkward, so although we can scale the parts nicely, its difficult to know what to scale it to, so adjusted by eye to make them look right.
The reason i am putting the time in here is because of our trip to Normandy and i was overwhelmed with the variety of arts i saw fitted to these awesome machines.

it is the only way to print TPU :haha:

Getting an Ender 3 tomorrow (or maybe a knock off - hard to tell?) going to experiment with leaf springs from flexible PLA... All being well I'll be able to set the bigger trucks up with the proper beam suspension rather than the individual leaf systems that Helifar and JJRC opted for :|

Phew, thought I’d cocked up there..
With the 1/6 Deuce I’m printing a bastardised version of Will’s rad rod rear suspension to locate the axles, once it in place tomorrow I’ll see if I can use leaf springs instead of coil overs, either way there’ll be loads of suspension travel

So been busy all day designing and printing and fitting my new range pf parts for the JJRC Q65 Willys Jeeps.
Trying my hardest to tart them up a little and make them more of the part.

We have a long list of parts to design still, but hopefully the next range of parts will help for those making an SAS version.
Just left my wife to start the painting and detailing on these :)
30 cal for protection with fender mounted MG

Barbed wire cutter and also a real folding tow bar, not to mentino a 50cal mount and MG on the back
Image

Wire reel for communication Jeeps
Image

I also designed myself a new set of door cards for our Ford V3000 truck. Artistic license used heavily haha

Also got our new Dual 370 motor mount printed for use on Alu extrusion U channel chassis

My Radio Communication Jeep also has one of our dual 180 motor setups installed with servo. I am looking to add sound eventually aswell, but it really does work well

Alot more to come, hope you like
