Max!,
PM reply sent. I'll see what Commander Bob has in stock. There's one on EBay I am watching but shipping from Germany puts it right up to the 220.00 range...and then there are DHL's famous destructive habits to deal with ( at least here to the States ).
regards!

Giant, I don't think this truck had spotlights. I ordered these

http://www.ebay.com/itm/301239949381?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

I'm thinking of using an rx18 or a TG MFU to make the light remote control. Just a simple rotation, and maybe on/off for the light, depending how carried away I get.

Gary the thought of a Diorama appeals to me but a Tank Park is not going to happen,
Apropos Kubel's,
In the early 70s VW began building them again and I happened to be visiting a NATO unit when one of these pulled up to the HQ offices, It was a bad time for any German truck or bus manufacturer trying to sell NATO any Vehicles,
I had just watched a 1943 Bedford QL rebuild towing a two year old Mercedes Benz Light Recovery vehicle trying to start it,
Yes it was Winter but come on, :lolno:
I was there looking at an almost new Mercedes coach whose gas turbine heater was causing the window rubbers to perish, When the office got the report there was great hilarity, I was sent to have a look,
The German Army Sgt Major showed me what the problem was by giving one of the side windows a not very hard push and with a mixture of horror and amusement the thing fell out onto the concrete floor, :{
DAF got the contract for a fleet of trucks and coaches six months later. :thumbup:
And no NATO did not buy the Kubel, :thumbdown:
Shaun.

Good afternoon, Second delivery from Fed-Ex today brought me the Solido Citroen Traction ll. Wow!, three days complete from purchase to delivery, from France... I am more than a little amazed. Dr. Jarndice, I will do a comparison of this 1938 model and the one from the early 50's as soon as I retrieve that one from the new tank room. ;o)
