The Print out decals were first prepped with a clear acrylic enamel shaker can paint (clear gloss ) Then were applied directly to the already painted surface with clear tacky glue (more or less a one shot deal ..so I had to make sure alignments were good) ... sealed with a semi gloss...any overflow onto the flat paint was retouched with careful touching up with a small and medium brush :D

Alpha,
They look like paint. Very well done! Your Sherman is on track for the finish.

I have to admit Painless... they did turn out well...actually better than the ones on my previous Saunders Sherman.... maybe it was because of the extra thick application of the satin clear...just so I could match the texture...who knows for sure.... anyway all that's left is the tools.... which at the moment I'm kind of hesitant to put on ... as I kind of want to take in her lines before cluttering it up ;)

Oh ... and the commander figure :haha:

Thanks for the kind words Painless

Agreed Canned....I can't tell you how thankful and fortunate I am to have acquired the Hull ...she turned out to be something for sure....I'm also thankful that Mato Mart had that sale... as I was able to get the Sherman package with the tracks for a very reasonable price
The journey isn't over yet though... as her commander will be just as challenging to make ;)

Thanks for the note of appreciation Canned  ...you should have left some of the images of your flamer... everything is welcome ... especially something built by you

No Kidding, Alpha; I echo what the others have said - your build has turned out stunning and unique, due to the effort you have put into it. You've never taken a shortcut when it came to making something, and you've usually even made it out of metal! It really is a great representation of what's shown in the anime series. -Mike

Thanks cupotea... one day I will build one that comes close to yours...these SHERMANs are addicting to a certain degree...they are excellent runners ..great in tight spots...it's just the variants that make them complicated ;)
